Peafowl are omnivorous and eat almost any food. In the wild their usual diet consists of seeds, grain, fruit, other plants and mice, insects, snakes, lizards and frogs as well. In the wild these birds usually live not more than 18 years. The peacock foundation may be able to show you aviary photos.
