There are several mutation varieties of the Blue peafowl. The “Spalding” variety is a hybrid between the Blue and the Green species. Males of the Black- shouldered variety have blue, black and green wings, and females are very pale. The standard plumage of the Indian Blue peafowl is marked with white in Pied and White varieties.
